During the recent years, Iliadis Th Prefabricated Constructions Company invests in research and innovation aiming at the construction of high-quality buildings that fully satisfy the modern living requirements in terms of safety, optimal indoor climate, high energy efficiency and the lowest possible financial cost. For this purpose, it exploits the transfer of technical knowledge, optimizing and dynamically developing the construction methods of its prefabricated buildings.

In this context, it collaborates with the research team of Mrs. Katerina Tsikaloudaki, Assistant Professor at the Building Construction and Physics Laboratory of the Civil Engineering Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The collaboration began in 2009, when the research team undertook the elaboration of a research project under the frame work of the G.S.R.T. action "Innovation Coupons for Small and Medium Enterprises" and it goes on until today with a new research project, funded by the company itself, to explore alternative constructing ways on its prefabricated buildings.
